Large-language models cost quite a bit of money to run; even moreso when you intentionally choose to not sacrifice on quality as some other offerings do (e.g., translating in parallel, less performant models, etc).
To grow AI Novel Translation sustainably without compromising our dedication to quality, we've implemented a pay-per-use model that ensures you get nothing but our best.

We currently support translations INTO the following languages: Afrikaans, Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, English, French, German, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish, and Vietnamese.
As for what languages we support translating FROM, all languages are supported. This means you can upload a novel in any language for translation!

Across all translation services (including ours), quality will tend to be correlated with how widely spoken a language is - how much written text exists? How many videos exist? How many voice recordings exist?
As a result, all other things equal, languages like English and Spanish that have higher representation globally will tend to have more fluent translations than say Cherokee and Gaelic.
With that being said, 1) we’re improving quality every day across our supported languages and 2) our community reminds us daily that while some languages aren’t at English fluency, they emphatically choose us again and again because they find the experience just that much better.

To access Batch Translation, navigate to the project page for your novel and click on the Batch Translate button - this will kick off the Batch Translation wizard to guide you through the process and provide a quote. Then just step back, let the website work its magic, and come back to the world’s best translations (typically under 2 hours for most novels).

The good news is there’s no wrong way. It’s just a matter of personal preference and what you're optimizing for.
If it’s helpful, we often see a spectrum. At one end, the “meticulous translators” - they translate one chapter at a time, review the output, tweak the glossary, and repeat until completion. At the other end, “vibe translators” - those who upload a novel, occasionally provide custom instructions, and then just let it rip.
Both extremes are valid, with most users translating somewhere in between.

The short answer, no.
The slightly longer answer, you've worked tremendously hard to generate one of a kind work. We not only value but respect this dedication to craft. Thus, we have not and do not train our models on any uploaded content.

We believe in transparency and honesty. We won’t pretend that AI Novel Translation will equal the quality of the best human translator in the world for a particular language who spends thousands of hours translating a single novel. Frankly, no online service will (…yet!)
However, AI Novel Translation is used by translators, readers, writers, and publishers the world over for a reason.

This is part of our secret sauce, but at a high level Glossary AI automatically saves the most important terms in your translation. These terms are then: 1. automatically replaced in future translations and 2. provide additional context that significantly raises translation accuracy
While we've found Glossary AI pretty much runs on auto-pilot, you can manually add, remove, or edit terms for maximum effectiveness and personalization.

Glossary AI is priced similar to our translation services and requires using our most powerful model. To turn it off, toggle the setting before translating.
